“It is truly an honour to have been selected to work as a Deck Supervisor for the Town of Newmarket. For the past two years I have been given the opportunity to work with exceptional staff, meet countless different members of the public and have the best possible shifts that anyone could ask for. The interactions and experiences that I have gained through the Town of Newmarket's Aquatics department will forever stay with me. With all the lessons learned, my interactions with fellow workers and with the guidance of the Recreation Programmers, I am confident that I can accomplish anything. After high school, I went to college and got my Early Childhood Education Diploma and my Bachelor's Degree in Child Development, now it’s 2024 and I am back at Summer Camps as a Camp Director. Camps opened my eyes to new possibilities, and I am loving it!”
