Don't miss New'bark'et 2025, Newmarket's one of a kind, family-friendly dog festival presented by Global Pet Foods. Both dog owners and lovers alike are welcome to come visit and enjoy many exciting events and vendors!
The New'bark'et Rules:
- Dogs should remain leashed at all times except when inside the fenced off-leash area. Retractable leashes are not acceptable.
- Dogs must be accompanied by a person of at least 16 years of age or older in the off-leash area.
- Handlers are responsible for their dogs at all times including stooping and scooping.
- If a dog begins acting aggressively (individuals and other dogs), you will be asked to leave the event.
- Maximum of 3 dogs per handler.
- All dog owners are subject to the
Dog Owner's Liability Act and the
Town of Newmarket's Bylaws.

- K9 Games: Super fun games for you and your pup! Try your hand at winning a Bronze, Silver or gold medal!
- The Ultimate Woof Warrior Obstacle course – “Unleash the fun! Conquer the course!” Teams enter and complete a fun course to allow them to experience a variety of canine activities. Each team receives a certificate of completion and a ribbon!
- The Scent Den – “Where every sniff cracks the case!” Dogs get the chance to find the hidden scents and earn a treat!
- Ask the Expert - Certified professional trainers and behaviour experts on site to answer questions about dog training and behaviour
