The Celebration Tree Program is a non-profit planting program offered by the Town of Newmarket. A tree symbolizes strength, durability, shelter, and beauty. Individuals may contribute towards the greening of our beautiful parks, in celebration of a loved one or in dedication of a special event.
Trees in the program are 60mm caliper trees suitable to grow in our areas. Trees that are selected will be planted and maintained by the Town of Newmarket. Tree locations will also be selected by the Town of Newmarket to assure the area is the most appropriate for the tree type and in accordance with general planting scheme for the park. After the selection and approval is made, and payment in full has been received, the planting of the tree will take place. Planting is available in the spring (May to June) and in the fall (September to November). Upon completion of the planting, the Town of Newmarket will notify you.
