The Ministry of the Environment, Conservation, and Parks (MECP) has introduced a new reporting system for Sewage Collection Systems. This system, known as the Consolidated Linear Infrastructure - Environmental Compliance Approval (CLI-ECA) and it replaces all existing Environmental Compliance Approvals (ECA) with a single overarching approval document. Under this new system, municipalities are required to submit an annual performance report and additional documentation on the operation of collection systems.
