Town of Newmarket presents January Jazz with Laurel Tubman
Saturday, January 31, 2026 | 7:30 p.m. (Doors at 6:30)
Laurel Tubman is one of Toronto's most versatile, up-and-coming voices. Her ability to interpret many musical styles makes her a highly sought-after talent.
Laurel regularly records and tours, both Ontario and internationally, with Canadian reggae legend Jason Wilson and his band Ashara. Stream their latest album here. She also performs with Tommy Youngsteen, a 12-piece classic rock super-group, performing covers of artists like Paul Simon, The Band, CCR and Tom Petty. Laurel also regularly sings at Ripley’s Aquarium with a talented jazz quartet, giving you everything from Stevie Wonder to Frank Sinatra, Bruno Mars to Esperanza Spalding.
