The Hospital has a clinically advanced regional focus in several areas, including: arthritis care, cancer care, cardiac care, cataract surgery, child and adolescent eating disorders, chronic disease management, pediatrics and perinatal care, telemedicine (Health Links) and thoracic surgery. With the continued expansion of Southlake, there is the potential to create 1200 -1400 new jobs in the health sciences industry and through opportunities for private sector spin-off.
